The Skagway Shield

The Skagway Shield is a cross section of a  Western Red Cedar. It is about 1 and a half feet in diameter and 3 inches thick. It was carved by a local artist named Amanda Davis. You can admire the Shield at our local Brewery, Skagway Brewing Co. It is displayed with a picture of the current champion and past champions will be immortalized on the back.
